Water Responds to You

July 12, 2012

Masaru Emoto may be known to many of you from the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know!?” or from his book Messages from Water. His research on the effects that words, music and prayer have on the formation of snowflake-like water crystals may have implications for our health. Initially Emoto”s research focused on the intricacy and beauty of crystals in high quality water versus the difficulty that poor/polluted water had in forming crystal.

Mr. Emoto began his research by typing out words on a piece of paper and then attaching these words onto a bottle of water. He then froze the water and examined the crystal formation to see how the water reacted to the actual words. He found that there is a signature vibration or cluster for every word. Positive words like “love,” “appreciation,” and “gratitude,” or phrases like “thank you, “lets do it” had beautifully formed crystals in snowflake shapes. While negative words like “demon,” “devil,” and “dirty,” or phrases like “you fool,” and ” I will kill you” created deformed crystals.

The language in which the phrase was written resulted in a different crystal shape depending on the slight variation of the meaning of the expression in the particular language. Tap water was found to quickly lose the memory of the expression and thus the crystals disintegrated in shape over time. Using positive words to water plants in the garden or with cut flowers in a vase resulted in the plants and flowers doing better.

Further experiments of Mr. Emoto involved exposing water containers to various types of music to see how the music affected the water crystals. Classical music by Beethoven, Mozart and Bach produced beautiful crystals, but Heavy Metal music created misshapen water crystals.

When testing water before and after prayers, the crystals were beautifully formed after the praying. If the prayers were said from a distance, the water crystals still were still greatly improved after the praying.

Further testing needs to be done to see if any of this can be used to positively affect the health of the body which is 70 – 90% water. The implication for each of us is that we need to be careful with our words. Prayers, even those from a distance, can have a positive effect on you and those you include in your prayers. The music you listen to should be beautiful and soothing in sound.

Isn’t it amazing that our words can have such a profound effect on the water within us and the water we drink? To get started, tape positive words to your water bottle. It is as simple a step as that to affect our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health.

Drink up!
